What are the reception opening times?
The reception is open between 07:00 and 22:00.
What are the campsite opening times?
Entry and exit with vehicles is possible during the following periods: 7 a.m. – 1 p.m., 3 p.m. – 10 p.m. There is a lrest time between 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. Between 10:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. the barriers remain closed due to the night’s quiet.
What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is from 3:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Check-out is until 12:00 p.m
When is midday rest?
Between 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m
When is night rest?
Between 10 p.m. and 7 a.m
Is there direct access to the lake?
The campsite has a long bathing beach with several bathing sections, bathing jetties, a demarcated shallow water area and a huge lawn for sunbathing. There is also a special section for guests with dogs.
How big are the pitches and what type of camping are they suitable for?
The campsite has more than 160 parceled pitches measuring 55 to 90m². The pitches are suitable for mobile homes, caravans and tents
Is it possible to park at the campsite?
Every guest can park their car on their pitch. There is also an additional parking lot in front of the campsite.
What is the terrain like?
Slightly sloping, partly stepped meadow with deciduous trees and many high hedges.

The campsite has a total area of 12 hectares

The campsite is 500 m above sea level.
What is in the immediate vicinity?
The nearest town is Keutschach am See, 4 km away. The nearest public stop is only 50m away from the campsite (stop “Hafnersee Feriendorf”, bus 5316)
What is the atmosphere like there?
The campsite is characterized by its original atmosphere. Here guests can enjoy the peace and quiet of nature and recover from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. At night it is very quiet on the square.

Who is the campsite suitable for?
The campsite is suitable for families, couples and individual travelers who are looking for rest and relaxation in nature and an original atmosphere. The adjacent Hafnerssee offers good conditions for water sports enthusiasts. Dog owners are also welcome.

Is the place suitable for dog owners?
The place is suitable for dog owners. The site has a dog shower and a special dog area on the beach.
Can you go swimming and do water sports?
The campsite is located directly on the Hafnerssee beach. The lake is suitable for swimming and has several jetties and a large lawn for sunbathing. Numerous water sports activities are possible: e.g. rowing, SUP, canoeing (no motorized sports equipment allowed). What sports options does the course and its surroundings offer?

Can you buy food and drink on site?
- Yes, there is a restaurant at the campsite. This is right on the shore of Hafnersee and has indoor and outdoor dining. The drinks and food offerings will be published later in the spring.
- There are vending machines onsite that offer a small selection of food and drink for your daily needs.
Are there sanitary facilities?
The modern sanitary area on site has:
- Showers with hot water
- Individual washing cubicles with hot water

What facilities are there for the supply and disposal of caravans and mobile homes?
The campsite offers:
- Facility for emptying waste water tanks

What amenities do the pitches offer?
The pitches have a power connection (Schuko sockets, 10 amps). Extension cable required.
Is the campsite suitable for wheelchair users?
The site has a sanitary cabin for wheelchair users. The paths on the campsite are generally easy to use for wheelchair users. The surface quality of the pitches varies between the individual pitches (grass, gravel, mixed forms).
Booking, payment, cancellation
How much is the down payment and remaining payment?
For all pitches, a deposit of €50 must be paid when booking. The remaining amount will be paid by the guest on site. If the deposit and final payment are not made as agreed, the campsite reserves the right to cancel the booking.
What cancellation conditions apply?
A pitch can be canceled free of charge up to 21 days before arrival. In this case the deposit will be refunded. If the booking is canceled within 21 days before arrival, the deposit will not be refunded.
Which payment methods can I use?
When booking online via campinghafnersee.com, you can pay with all common credit cards. You can also pay the remaining payment and other services on site with all common credit cards.
