I’m on site right now.Such friendly staff in such a beautiful place, it’s almost not true…Everything just fits here.Quiet, spacious place, right on the beautiful Hafnersee, wonderful.It won’t be there for the last time.The beach restaurant is amazing, such good food, such friendly staff.Please keep the tenant and staff for the coming seasons. That would be great.

This campsite is located next to Hafnersee near Wörthersee in southern Austria and is managed by the Falkenstein group.We decided to go near Wörthersee, a famous summer resort, because it seemed like there would be too many vacationers.Check-in is possible from 15:00, so it doesn’t seem to matter if you come a little early, and you can choose a place you like from among the empty areas. The campsite and lake are right next to each other, and are divided into three zones – Gold, Silver, and Bronz – based on the distance from the lake. Gold is the closest, but it is also expensive.I used Silver Area No. 49, it was close to the lake, and it was convenient to use camping site facilities such as restrooms and shower rooms.The rate is 20 euros per adult per night in the Silver zone, and the electricity usage fee is 2.5 euros per night.There are a lot of families camping, so there is a lot of noise, and the bathroom and shower room are not dirty, but they are not clean. They don’t clean thoroughly. It seemed like the toilet had never been cleaned. Compared to the size of the campsite, there are only 4 sinks for washing dishes, which is small, and although it is a bit crowded during meal times, it is not inconvenient.The advantage is that you can use the lake almost exclusively and relax on the wide lawn on the lakeside. It was really nice to be able to see the beautiful sunset every evening.If you’re passing through southern Austria, I recommend stopping by.

Ok, lets be fair. We do not have big experience with camping, but here we were very happy. The crew is amazingly welcoming, helpfull and kind. Nothing was a problem, helped with non standard requests. Dogs are welcome. But mostly, it was so quite! Even at night – only snoring neighbours 🙂 nice and warm lake, good for kids with a wooden plato. Small restaurant, clean showers. Plenty of space. Seriously, a surprisngly nice experience.

Great little campsite in a natural location. The description on the website fits 1:1!The staff is very nice, accommodating and always friendly. The place is very well maintained and clean, the plots are sufficiently large. What is a bit difficult, however, is the entrance to the plot. The access is very narrow – but everything is doable with a little patience. The lake is really very beautiful and clean.

Camping Hafnersee: relaxation and adventure in the middle of nature

In the middle of the picturesque Carinthian landscape, directly on the shore of Hafnersee, lies the Hafnersee campsite of the same name. Just a few minutes away from the famous Wörthersee, it offers relaxation, deceleration and an original camping experience. The long beach with jetties and a huge lawn invites you to swim, sunbathe and do water sports. A playground, table tennis tables and a mini golf course offer fun and entertainment for young guests too. The Pitches are located in the immediate vicinity of the lake and are equipped with electricity. There is a modern sanitary building just a few meters away.
